The majority of my scans are technically unfinished works, aside from the two acrylic beach paintings I made for my Grandmas and the Dire Wolves pencil sketch.
I have a bad habit of starting up new sketches/paintings/whatever before completing what I was previously working on.
Tsk, tsk!
My sisters are *always* scolding me for it - and I don't blame them.
It's a ridiculously bad habit.
Thank you for the compliment Orions! Love your deviant name, btw!

Oooh...I should totally scan my Lucius-as-a-Rock-Star sketch I did for her of Jason Isaacs (as his Harry Potter character Lucius Malfoy)...it's too hilarious.
*runs to get sketchbook*

And the art looks great, too. A double win, I'd say.

I've been sort of trying to make it a tradition for the last few years (especially for my Grandmas at Christmas and for their birthdays) to give handmade gifts as well as a little bought something or other.
The drawings/paintings always go over well and it makes me so happy just seeing their reactions.
My paternal Grandmother is 93 and in an assited care living home currently and I try to do as much artwork for her as I can find time to produce, because her health has been gradually declining over the last couple of years, so it's all the more important to make the time she has left all the more memorable.
At least that's what I'm striving to do.
I love my Grandma! (clearly)...

Well, here's to you getting to make many more drawings for her in the years to come.

My Dad thinks she could go at any time. But she's suprisingly, super resilient. She survived quadruple bypass heart surgery...and that was 20 years ago!
She'll outlive us all! That's what I always say.
I hope you don't have to worry about any elderly relatives in the near (or even distant) future too!
Worrying stinks...give you wrinkles! J/k..
